Alapis SA was founded in 2007 with the vision to become a key healthcare player in Greece, as well as in selected European countries / regions.

Despite the international financial crisis which has inevitably impacted our financial performance and short-term strategic goals, we have not diverted from our long-term vision of solidifying our market position. Furthermore, in light of the upcoming developments that will catalyze the Greek healthcare industry, we expect Alapis to emerge even stronger thanks to our enriched generic product portfolio, our strong partnerships as well as our nationwide distribution network.

In particular, Alapis has three production sites in Greece dedicated to own and third party manufacturing, it has multiple high-tech warehousing & distribution sites in Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria & Romania and it is a dominant wholesaling player in Greece and in the UK.

Currently, we are finalizing the integration and consolidation of the group’s activities, seeking to maximize the synergies stemming from our one-stop-shop business model. Having successfully built an integrated platform over the last years, Alapis is now able to further develop and focus on its core human pharma business, through continued consolidation of our market position combined with expansion into selected new markets, introduction of new products, enrichment of our employee work base, optimization of our production process and investment in our R&D business unit.
