The Hellenic Red Cross (HRC) and the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE) are once again joining forces within the framework of the social initiative “proSfEEroume.”

On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, in the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Symeon of Fthiotis, the President of the Hellenic Red Cross, Dr. Antonios Avgerinos, and the President of SFEE, Mr. Olympios Papadimitriou, accompanied by executives from both organizations, will visit four (4) social care facilities in Lamia to deliver essential supplies addressing the needs of 285 beneficiaries.

In particular, SFEE will support the students of the Ecclesiastical Gymnasium and Lyceum of Lamia by providing educational and health-related materials tailored to their needs. In addition, both organizations will offer medical and pharmaceutical supplies, consumables, toys, specialized equipment for persons with disabilities, and various other essential items to two institutions operated by the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotis in Stylida-the Petri Foundation – Home for the Elderly and the Asylum for the Chronically Ill-as well as to the Rachoutio Nursing Home of Lamia, thereby contributing substantially to improving the quality of life of their elderly residents.

Upon completion of these humanitarian and support activities, Dr. Antonios Avgerinos and Mr. Olympios Papadimitriou will hold a Press Conference, attended by local authorities, at the Training and Seminar Hall of the Multicenter for Social and Welfare Services of Eastern Fthiotis, in Vasilika, Stylida.

This initiative constitutes yet another coordinated effort by the Hellenic Red Cross and the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies to safeguard the health and mental well-being of society’s most vulnerable members. It reaffirms the ongoing commitment of both organizations to humanitarian action and social solidarity and demonstrates in practice the power of cooperation.
