SFEE donated a significant quantity of <strong>medical supplies<\/strong> to address the center\u2019s increased needs, which accommodates approximately <strong>100 children<\/strong> of various ages. At the same time, a <strong>Christmas celebration<\/strong> was held at the facility, featuring <strong>volunteers and staff from the<\/strong> <strong>HRC&#8217;s Social Welfare Sector<\/strong>. The event included <strong>festive music by renowned singer Antonis Remos<\/strong>, a celebratory meal, and personalized gifts for the children, bringing joy and holiday cheer to the kids.<\/p>\n<p>HRC has been supporting this Center for many years through a dedicated team of Social Welfare Volunteers. These volunteers visit the branch weekly, organizing creative activities and entertainment for the children in collaboration with the Center&#8217;s management. Additionally, they arrange various events and outings, including community activities, visits to cultural landmarks, attendance at theatrical performances, and more, blending entertainment with education.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;proSfEEroume&#8221; initiative, active since late 2016, has made significant contributions by providing pharmaceutical supplies, consumables, essential items, first aid kits, school supplies, toys, and handicraft materials to 14 regions across the country. Additionally, it organizes training seminars on first aid and volunteering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HRC President Dr. Antonios Avgerinos stated<\/strong>: <em>&#8220;The Hellenic Red Cross, through its voluntary humanitarian initiatives, collaborates closely with SFEE to promote social cohesion and solidarity, mobilize civil society, prevent the marginalization and isolation of vulnerable groups, and strengthen the spirit of volunteerism in our country&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>SFEE President Mr. Olympios Papadimitriou <\/strong>stated: <em>&#8220;We take great pride in our collaboration with the Hellenic Red Cross, addressing the needs of children and vulnerable social groups residing in Social Welfare Structures and Centers and facing serious health problems. Through its <\/em>&#8220;proSfEEroume\u201d initiative<em>, SFEE, in partnership with the HRC, provides essential pharmaceutical products and medical supplies to those in need.
