Announcement<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Athens<\/strong>, 5 <\/strong>May<\/strong> 2015<\/strong> – Today, the President and the members of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE) had an official meeting with the Minister of Health, Mr. Panagiotis Kouroumblis, to discuss pharmaceutical policy issues.<\/p>\n

The discussion was conducted in a very good climate, and the Minister reaffirmed his willingness to openly communicate with all stakeholders in search of a solution in the best interests of patients and the country.<\/p>\n

Regarding the issue of high-cost medicines, the Health Minister agreed that certain technical modalities have yet to be clarified. It was therefore decided to set up an Ad Hoc Technical Committee, including representatives of official industry bodies, to examine the relevant matters in detail.<\/p>\n

As noted by both sides, the common goal is to ensure equal access of all patients to a safe healthcare system.<\/p>\n
