SfEE 40 years

1982 – 2022: SfEE 40 years, 40 years of contribution and offer

  • to the Greek patient,
  • in public health,
  • in the society,
  • in economy,
  • in employment,
  • in growth.

For the last forty (40) years, with its initiatives, proposals and interventions in the public debate, SfEE has emerged as an equal and reliable interlocutor of the State. Through the formation and support of strong and well-documented positions, it contributes decisively to the promotion of public health, with a focus on the patient.

The basic belief of SFEE is the adoption of a patient-centered policy, with respect for the human being, oriented to the real needs of Greek citizens, with emphasis on prevention and early diagnosis, with timely access to new innovative medicines and technologies that can change the outcome of a disease, reduce mortality, prevent hospitalization and improve the quality of people’s lives.

In the context of the celebration of 40 years, SfEE invited representatives of patients’ associations to speak from the heart about their personal history, their own journey in the diagnosis and treatment of their disease and recorded these testimonies in the following videos.

Note: The content of the message is a product of patients’ free expression, motivated by their personal experience living with their illness, without any intervention on the content or instigation or exchange by SfEE or anyone else.
